iMISSION: Space Station Simulation
When: Friday, October 19, 2018
Where: iSPACE on the Scarlet Oaks Campus
Ages: Fourth-Sixth Grades
Cost: $16.00 per participant
Participants are immersed into the role of an iMISSION crew member and are challenged to apply STEM skills in a fun and unique learning experience. Problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills become key elements for successful completion of the simulation activities as well as any “emergencies” the crew may encounter on their adventure. Throughout the experience, crew members discover that a successful mission requires the combined efforts of many teams filling a variety of jobs. Positions include: Data/Communications Officer, Public Relations Officer, Geologist, Life Support Scientist, Isolation Scientist, Engineer, Remote Arm Operator, Navigation Specialist, and Medical Officer.
