Then Teen Science Café is for you!

Teen Science Cafés are designed for teens by teens.  This series of programs bring teens together in an informal setting to learn about science, technology and explore STEM careers.  Join local experts and participate in these free, fun, interactive activities!  

Cafés occur from 6pm to 7:30pm on selected Thursays throughout the school year. Each café includes a presentation from a local STEM professional, an interactive activity relating to the discussion, a Q&A session, and time to meet other teens that enjoy science.

Then, the Teen Science Leadership Team is for you!

The Teen Science Leadership team is a core group of Teen Leaders, with the committed mentorship of an Adult Leader, that plan and run the café programs.

Teen Leaders are the backbone of cafés and take on significant duties. These duties include:
* Choosing café topics
* Finding experts for the topic
* Working with experts to create an activity
* Providing host duties at cafés
* Recruiting peers by public speaking and marketing
* Creating café write-ups for the Teen Science Café Network

Information for parents and teens on how to become a Teen Cafe Leader will be provided at our first Science Café, Thursday December 14th.
