Mission: To ignite a passion in girls for STEM so that they are prepared to thrive in tomorrow's world.

To accomplish their mission, the GIS Advisory Board hosts several all-girl STEM experiences throughout the year, provides girls with opportunities to interact with female STEM role models, and gives families and educators the resources and tools to support children's interest in STEM.

Many young girls are unaware of the exciting career opportunities available in the medical device industry, especially in the fields of engineering and product development. Without exposure to these STEM fields, girls may miss out on fulfilling and impactful career paths that can make a real difference in people's lives.

Join us for an evening of exploration and discovery with Mammotome! 5th - 8th grade girls are invited to spend time with their talented engineers, learning about the medical device industry through fun, interactive activities focused on product development, imaging, and biopsies. This is the perfect opportunity to spark your interest in engineering and gain insight into the rewarding world of medical technology.
