Meet other teens who like science as much as you do?
Share your ideas and learn what others think, too?
Then Teen Science Café is for you!
Teen Science Cafés are designed for teens by teens. This series of programs bring teens together in an informal setting to learn about science, technology and explore STEM careers. Join local experts and participate in these free, fun, interactive activities!
Cafés occur from 6pm to 7:30pm on selected Mondays throughout the school year. Each café includes a presentation from a local STEM professional, an interactive activity relating to the discussion, a Q&A session, and time to meet other teens that enjoy science.

TEEN SCIENCE CAFE: Teen Science Cafe Celebration!

For this Cafe we will be celebrating three years of Teen Science Cafe's at iSPACE by revisiting the teen's favorite hands-on activities from previous Cafes, which include paper rockets, Strawberry DNA, puzzle cubes, and disorientation googles.

Then, the Teen Science Cafe Leadership Team is for you!
The Teen Science Café Leadership team is a core group of Teen Leaders, with the committed mentorship of an Adult Facilitator, that plan and run the café programs.
Teen Leaders are the backbone of cafés and take on significant duties.
These duties include:
* Proposing café topics
* Working with experts to create an activity
* Providing host duties at cafés
* Addressing the audience with welcome and closing statements
* Recruiting peers and assist with marketing
* Creating presentations
* Designing flyers
