Campers will become biologists as they explore different topics of biology through a variety of hands-on activities. They will each devise different experiments to learn more about mealworms. Campers will find isopods in the wild, and compare their capabilities to those of mealworms. Using sampling techniques and microscopes, campers will evaluate the status of Gorman Pond by identifying the critters who live in it. Campers will study plant and animal cell structure, then progress to organs and organ systems, culminating in the dissection of sheep eyeballs.
