Mission: To ignite a passion in girls for STEM so that they are prepared to thrive in tomorrow's world.
To accomplish their mission, the GIS Advisory Board hosts several all-girl STEM experiences throughout the year, provides girls with opportunities to interact with female STEM role models, and gives families and educators the resources and tools to support children's interest in STEM.

Once Upon a Time: The Story of Enchanted Aerospace Materials

Girls in 5th-8th grade are invited to join us at the next iSPACE GIRLS in STEM April 25th from 6 pm-8 pm, hosted by GE Aerospace.
Once upon a time there was a girl interested in materials engineering… join engineers at GE Aerospace to learn about materials used in jet engines with a fairy tale twist! How could Rapunzel have improved the strength of her braid? Or could Strega Nona have saved Big Anthony from his pasta eating fate if she gave clearer directions? We hope to see you there to answer these questions and more!
